Astute · Terms of Use
Astute (“the app”, “we”) is developed and operated by TheBaleCompany. By using the app you agree to these terms and, on iPhone, to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement or, on Android, to the Google Play Terms of Service.
Astute+
Astute+ is an auto-renewable subscription, monthly or yearly, sold through the App Store on iPhone and Google Play on Android. The price is shown by the store, in your currency, before you buy. Where a free trial is offered, it becomes a paid subscription at its end unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your store account is charged within the 24 hours before each renewal. You manage or cancel it on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, on Android in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or in the app under Profile → Manage subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
The cards
The cards are written for learning and for conversation, not as medical, legal, financial or any other professional advice. We check them and cite their sources, but we cannot promise that every card is free of error. If you find one, write to us.
Your account
You can use Astute without signing in. You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Profile → Delete account; that does not cancel an Astute+ subscription. The name you choose in the app is shown to the friends who have your code, so choose one you are happy for them to see.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
Law
These terms are governed by Italian law, without taking away the protections the law of the country where you live gives you as a consumer.

Astute (“l’app”, “noi”) è sviluppata e gestita da TheBaleCompany. Usando l’app accetti questi termini e, su iPhone, il Contratto di licenza per l’utente finale di Apple o, su Android, i Termini di servizio di Google Play.
Astute+
Astute+ è un abbonamento a rinnovo automatico, mensile o annuale, venduto tramite l’App Store su iPhone e Google Play su Android. Il prezzo è mostrato dallo store, nella tua valuta, prima dell’acquisto. Dove è offerta una prova gratuita, alla sua fine diventa un abbonamento a pagamento, a meno che tu non disdica almeno 24 ore prima. L’abbonamento si rinnova automaticamente se non viene disdetto almeno 24 ore prima della fine del periodo in corso, e l’addebito sul tuo account dello store avviene nelle 24 ore precedenti ogni rinnovo. Lo gestisci o lo disdici su iPhone in Impostazioni → il tuo nome → Abbonamenti, su Android in Google Play → Pagamenti e abbonamenti → Abbonamenti, oppure nell’app in Profilo → Gestisci abbonamento. I rimborsi sono gestiti da Apple o da Google secondo le loro regole.
Le carte
Le carte sono scritte per imparare e per conversare, non come consigli medici, legali, finanziari o di altro tipo professionale. Le controlliamo e ne citiamo le fonti, ma non possiamo garantire che ogni carta sia priva di errori. Se ne trovi uno, scrivici.
Il tuo account
Puoi usare Astute senza accedere. Puoi eliminare il tuo account in qualsiasi momento dall’app, in Profilo → Elimina account; questo non disdice l’abbonamento Astute+. Il nome che scegli nell’app è visibile agli amici che hanno il tuo codice, quindi scegline uno che ti va bene far vedere.
Modifiche
Se questi termini cambiano, la nuova versione viene pubblicata su questa pagina con una nuova data.
Legge
Questi termini sono regolati dalla legge italiana, senza togliere le tutele che la legge del paese in cui vivi ti riconosce come consumatore.
